Lincoln Christian University (LCU), formerly ''Lincoln Christian College and Seminary'' (LCCS),〔("LCCS to become LCU." ''Lincoln Courier'', 6 May 2009. )〕 comprises a ''School of Undergraduate Studies'', a ''Seminary'', and the ''Hargrove School'', all located in Lincoln, Illinois. LCU is affiliated with the Christian churches and churches of Christ. LCU's School of Undergraduate Studies is a private, four year, co-educational, residential Bible college offering Certificates, Associate's and Bachelor's degrees.〔(Association for Biblical Higher Education Directory ). Its first President was Earl Hargrove; its first Dean was Enos Dowling. The seminary opened in 1951.
